Haha yup. Sounds like my friend's Italian family. I only wish my family could be as functional and close as them. IlL never forget the day I joined in on their dynamics. My family is pretty uptight so it was definitely a bit of an adjustment to be around hers but it was always funny. Still, I never engaged with the Jokes until one day I blurted out one that didn't even make sense. They all stopped and then burst out laughing and to this day I (and now DH) are Included in all their jokes.
