Right, most were here on student visas and just didn't attend. My point is the lax system regarding letting foreigners of any kind into this country is becoming our downfall. And those screaming 'racist' are leading the pack - these bad players depend on you wanting so much to elevate yourself that you will put all common sense aside in order to do so.
I agree. Whether it is legal immigration, or illegal immigration, our country needs to be selective as to who comes in. Rigorous screening is needed, not only for intent (why are they wanting to come here?), but for health conditions as well.
WE are the ones who decide who comes in - not the immigrants.

Your other info is probably off too. Or you are looking at "congressional" hours for one (Benghazi) who was not the lead on the 9/11 attack.
You're begging the question. Why didn't Congress take the lead in investigating the failures that led to Septmeber 11 (3000 deaths) the way it has obsessed over Benghazi (4 deaths)?
I agree. Just answer the question. Were more congressional hours spend investigating Benghazi than were spend investigating how the 9/11 attacks were allowed to occur?
The 9/11 investigation was done by a commission created by Congress and signed into law by GWB. Regardless of your feelings on this issue Obama would never sign into law a commission to look into Benghazi.
The OP is comparing apples and oranges.
My feelings?! IS there any justification for the Benghazi hearings in comparison to the 9/11 hearings?! Come on! I simply cannot believe this is common knowledge to Republicans and never mentioned! We lost THOUSANDS of innocent civilian lives in the US on 9/11 and lost billions of dollars that will never be re-cooped. We, as a nation were traumatized and all the Republican administration did was give it a cursory look and no blame found?!!!
The 4 brave Americans who died in Libya VOLUNTEERED to a war region and were tragically murdered. It was horrible. But this witch hunt is perverse in light of the 9/11 comparison.
Re: 9/11/2001
1) We know what group did it
2) We know why they did it
3) We know how they got the means to do it
4) We know where the President was when they did it
What I can't believe is even knowing all this, Liberals want to continue (and further) the same loose immigration policies that let these killers into our country.
You are truly warped, PP. We will never know how much the Bush administration knew about the possibility that this would occur and we know there were warnings that no one in the Bush administration took seriously. Where are the hearing to press those issues?
And go back to Middle School Civic Affairs - the Congress is in change of immigration policies. This President has deported more illegals than any president in the last fifty years and has found a way to not only help the Dreamers but also keep track of them.
Seriously, Dude, learn to read and research on your own and turn off Fox Propaganda. You have access to the internet - learn to use it.
Hey...are you seriously spewing what you're spewing and telling the other person to do some research? What the hell?
Guess I just don't have patience tonight for this partisan ignorance.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I read that I am astonished by how perverted that is. Six thousand Americans are murdered by terrorists using our our aircraft in our own country and the tragic deaths of four adult volunteers to a war zone gets more investigation.
If true - that is the sick, perversion of the Republican Party.
This kind of nonsense is simply ridiculous.
You read? Where? Link it!
6,000? Maybe you need to do some reading about 9/11
And your question? Again...either support it or shut up.

I wish people would stop saying this. Obama merely started counting people turned around at/near the border as "deportations"; these people weren't counted before. Deportations in the interior of the country are down 40%. FWIW, I do believe the Benghazi investigation/furor was a farce motivated by political goals.
To stop you from screaming about a link: http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-obama-deportations-20140402-story.html#page=1
I'm guessing that facts won't stop you from repeating the lie about Obama's deportation numbers, but just in case you're intellectually honest, from the article:
"Expulsions of people who are settled and working in the United States have fallen steadily since his first year in office, and are down more than 40% since 2009. On the other side of the ledger, the number of people deported at or near the border has gone up — primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency's deportation statistics."
