A few suggestions:
sports where short girls can compensate for their height disadvantage with speed and agility: tennis, soccer (think Megan Klingenerg), basketball (point guard)
sports where short girls have an advantage: gymnastics, diving, cross-country
sports where you have to be short: crew -- coxswain!!
