When someone has been on radio for over 5 years (and I do not listen to Kane), and at one time (not sure if this is the case still) is on NBC4 on a weekly basis, and you don't know about him, you need to get out of your bubble once in a while and see what is out there. Radio can be an escape, when a show is done right, meaning entertaining and something one can relate to. We are spoiled in Washington, DC that there are multiple formats of genre to listen to, as well as different types of personalities.

Didn't know he s syndicated. That's why radio sucks now, no local flavor in the programming

107.3 and 94.7 talk local stuff all the time, and to the PP that can't stand talk, 94.7 doesn't talk much in the morning so you can get your music fix there. I suspect 97.1 is 90% music too.

Or get satellite radio and then you have lots of talk-free options.

Can't stand talk radio. It's very similar to Judge Judy or the soaps. They discuss super petty issues. No thanks.
