Curious. What kind of dogs do you have? Which dog parks do you like?

There are some crazy people at some dog parks!

I was in Glover Park's informal dog park(b/c it is actually part of the national park and dogs are not allowed off leash) and watched dogs chase runners, steal soccer balls from kids and attack people on bikes. The owners did nothing. All it takes is one complaint to the park rangers and they will be out writing tickets.

OMG. You are a victim. Therapy?

Well If one feel threaten by a dog, one can kill the dog. You will not even get a ticket.

You must be new to this country. Try that and see how well it turns out for you, comrad.

People should really check out Ian Dunbar on youtube and read his books. We went to puppy and dog training with his methods. It's all about off leash training. We have such a happy, healthy dog and being off leash is a big part of it. I don't enjoy dog parks as much as off leash trails. Dog parks are often full of uneducated people and dogs.

Dogs should be given plenty of time off leash outdoors. Unfortunately, this area is filled with stupid, paranoid people who are afraid of dogs. I walk my dogs off leash every day

As OP mentioned, the dog-owner idiots abound.

+1
I have dogs but they never run off leash in public.
