What a glass-half-empty way to look at things, OP. When I read the thread title, I thought you meant "There is not JUST one man for every woman" i.e. there is more than one man.
I was married to a great man, was widowed young, and am now in a serious relationship with another great man. They are definitely out there!

Actually, we are made like most other animals to procreate. I know many of us like to think that we are much more evolved than that but the bottom line is that men need to impregnate women. Period.

Not necessarily. I don't blend well with Alpha men and not because I am an Alpha but more cause it's too much testosterone and sports and LOUD and just too much. My dudes tend to be macho but emo. I have found them to actually be more stand up guys than Mr. BMOC. The Alpha I dated kept a gun because he was scared? in his posh neighborhood. I am a single woman living alone....no gun needed here. I mean, c'mon. The emo man I married had no problem telling the street thugs to get the fuck off my parked car when they were outside hanging around being shiftless. I earn more than him but he works more and harder than I do. We complement each other well.

And to be honest, when I see a divorced man, I assume that the wife probably had very good reason to kick him out.


What you should do is build a life for yourself that you're content with even without a man. Have fulfilling friendships and interests that make you unwilling to waste your time on just anyone. Then if you meet a really great guy, he'll be another great piece to that life, but if you don't, you'll still be happy.

And how old are the women you go for? Men in their 50s are chasing women under 50, as a rule. So what does that leave women in their 50s? Senior citizens, for the most part. The older I get, the more I'm glad I'm bi.

Women have all the power. They get to choose. To say there are no decent 50 something men is just a convenient excuse. I know plenty that are decent


That is only if men LET THEM. So I never had a choice? Any woman who was interested in me was automatically going to be dated? Ridiculous. If men stopped acting like pussies and showed they are worthy of respect, this wouldn't happen.

I'm 14:58 and should add that I'm a tad bit biased right now from learning that a dear friend is divorcing a guy I thought I was great. She gave me a list of 20 grievances that range from petty but gross to super annoying, yet nothing abusive or neglectful.
