I am not particularly caring much either way, but I will say that it makes getting dressed in the morning easier.

I think it's genius. No more 3 year old tantrums over school clothes when I deny the princess dress. She totally gets that you can't just wear what you want. Conformity rocks!

At least one for each day of the week is my rule of thumb. The little guys tend to wear through the long pants very quickly. Shorts and t-shirts last the longest. Buy larger sizes now while on sale if you can afford it.

Oh give me a break. Kids have potty accidents, and lots of children are still learning at that age. And even if your child *never* has accidents, your classroom is still going to demand an extra set of clothes. Moreover, they might need to use that extra set of clothes for reasons that have nothing to do with potty accidents. Kids spill things. They make messes. Even if your kid is perfect, other kids will make messes and your kids might be in the way.

Then attend a private or a school that doesn't have a uniform policy. Its that easy.

I don't think it matters. For us it's navy, but if the pants are any shade of blue you're ok. They don't police uniforms at our EOTP DCPS.

You can order decent budget uniforms from Target in 3T sizes.

They grow out of them so fast! We bought four and did laundry once midweek.
