Lands End EZ Wipe is firm, though not totally rigid. Good enough for when the kids sit on the bus with their backpacks still on.

I bought the original Laptop Lunch in 2005 and it's still going strong. At the time, this was pretty original and they didn't have many choices. Over the yrs I've seen many others that looked cool, but mine is still in perfect shape so there is no reason to checkout another. I put in the top rack of the dishwasher. http://www.laptoplunches.com

Or make so much noise when the "lunch helpers" throw them around. I once asked my son how his lunchbox got so dirty and he explained what a lunchbox goes through in a day. The lunch helpers basically pack and unpack the cart by throwing them in the air. Better a soft sided landing than a dented box

same. Asked DC how there was dried dirt all over the lunchbox. Was told the "lunch buddies" were piling the boxes by the outside door after recess by tossing them.

I miss the plastic ones with the damn thermos inside. It bugs that you have to buy those separately now.

I use a hard sided metal box.
