Subject: Tips to Reduce Electric Bill
Buy a Nest or similar programmable/learning thermostat, and actually figure out how to use it. I like the Nest because it senses that I am not at home and goes into Away mode automatically.
Big energy savings there.
The phantom energy use of electronics still stumps me.

All electric here. 2000 or more sq. ft. home, electric never went above $230 in 6 years. I refuse to suffer in the summer so I keep it at 72 all day and 70 at night, husband hates cold so he kicks that heat up in the winter.
