My oldest will be 5y 8m, the youngest will be 5y 2m. No thought whatsoever about red shirting the youngest.

Sixteen. We have a very busy two career lifestyle and I wanted to wait until she could drive herself to school. It makes it so much easier for all of us!

Not op, but we're in NY now, and most districts in our area have December 1st or 31st as a cutoff, some are November. So a good number of kids start at 4. I think September cut offs are more common throughout the country, but there are pockets like this one with late dates.
in Virginia, the cut off is Sept 30th, so kids could be 4 the first month of school.

Not op, but we're in NY now, and most districts in our area have December 1st or 31st as a cutoff, some are November. So a good number of kids start at 4. I think September cut offs are more common throughout the country, but there are pockets like this one with late dates.
