It kind of seems like you don't trust the preschool teacher, or her professionalism or training. I can see how that would be insulting to an early education professional.

It is ironic that parents complain of ES, MS and HS not reading IEPs and you are asking if it is okay for a lead teacher to read an IEP.

Teachers should be informed of your child's issues so that they can help him and know what kind of help he is already getting. If they notice something else, they can let you know.

I wish any of my now rising 8th grader's teachers had taken his disability so seriously. I see no reason in not sharing. There's info in there that is often best interpreted through reading and thinking about the details. Maybe she's also just not an auditory learner and needs to read in order to really comprehend.
