Did you already realize you are an asshole or not until this thread?

Here's my question...did anyone else find it weird that Vicky received this call on Shannon's landline? Who called her? And why wouldn't they call her cell phone?

I thought she got a text from Brianna, and then called Brianna from Shannon's craft room.

I'm thinking Brianna texted her to call from a landline so she could be sure Vicky wasn't calling while driving. Can't imagine how she would have handled that call on the freeway.

Someone predicted 2 years in this thread about her: http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/483892.page

I think she will make it work for 3. She is really oblivious to how much her husband dislikes her and that will be an asset when he starts cheating and really checking out.

In contrast, my mother deteriorated for a grueling five years, and so I had a different reaction to her death than I would have if, say, she had a sudden accident and was gone like that. But, yeah, we do all react differently.

I cried so much last night. I'm glad they aired it though. Real life right there. I don't think I would have reacted like her but ya just don't know. My heart ached for her

On another snarky note, I cannot stand the new girl, Megan, what a bitch! I love Shannon and commend her for her patience.

Actually, I remember Vicki being very upset when she saw it on the season preview. I think when they sign up for the season they have no choice over what airs

Have any of y'all lost your mother yet? I have, and I also thought her reaction was over dramatic. My mom and I were super close and I was devastated by her loss. But I did/do not grieve out loud and so Vicki's expression of her pain and grief was way too much in my view. But at the same time- I hurt for her and am so sorry for her loss. I react to pain and loss differently.

Everyone grieves differently and not everyone loses it that outward way.

Seriously? She was OVERREACTING to her moms death? OMG you sound so callous and cold, who are to decide what is and what is not over the top reacting to something so devastating!
