I really like this idea, only most of the Ajays I know say their names AH-jay. (I have no South Asian heritage.)

When asking for suggestions of A and J names, did you not think it was important or critical to mention that two of the most popular names -- Andrew and James -- were off the table?

OP here: Andrew and James are out b/c they're our brother's names. We like the nickname AJ generally and if we use A and J we would be naming him after deceased female relatives. DH likes Alex, I'm on the fence. Trying to think of other alternatives is hard!
