Many said Maryland law requires fertility coverage. I work for a huge bank in MD and all they cover is IUI, nada nothing for IVF. this does not help us :-S

Some Big Law firms covers IF. They also have quite a few non-legal positions in IT, Library, HR, Accounting, Marketing and HR.

I work for a pharmaceutical company that has decent coverage. The biggest benefit for us has been that some of the fertility meds are made by another company they merged with so we get those free. The girl I spoke with last at Freedom pharmacy indicated she had never seen such great prescription coverage.

World Bank- $50,000 lifetime max, not including meds (which are covered under regular policy ... after $1000 annual spend, the majority are covered at no or minimal costs.)

Not all large employers in Maryland are required to include coverage for IVF. If a large employer decides to self-insure (which many do) they are not required to follow the Maryland mandates. Only fully-insured plans, i.e., an employer who procures insurance through an insurance company, are required to include the IVF mandate. Employers who self-insure may choose to provide the benefit, but they aren't required to.

The State of Maryland (which self-insures and is not subject to the mandate) covers IVF for state employees.

MCPS has great coverage but don't think there are IT jobs - they may rely on contractors

Yes, the company needs to be based in MD. Husband works for ICF in MD and they do not follow the MD mandate.
