I fully agree with you here. Apparently he let one woman live and told her that she has to tell the story. I do not think he's crazy, like Gifford's shooter. I think he was after Pinckney in particular
I'm sure they already know who he is. That's a good image. I do hope that he's wearing a wig - that haircut is atrocious.
I heard in a news report that the police believe the shooter was wearing a hair net.
I agree that because the photo is so clear, they will have him identified quickly.
If he doesn’t kill himself, I believe that he will be taken down in a shoot out.
Very, very sad.

I don't think this is true. Gifford's shooter WAS 'crazy' - as evidenced by those who had interacted with him, and by his patterns of stalking, etc. Ditto the Aurora shooter. This man is not 'crazy' in that sense, nor will he be portrayed as such. It's clear from police statements so far that this man is a sociopath.

So tired of gun advocates saying that we shouldn't talk about guns when there is a gun tragedy. A man with a gun caused these deaths. It is absolutely appropriate to talk about guns right now.
Pretty sure that the families aren't reading DCUM, so you stop clutching your pearls about them.

pp here. I disagree. I believe an interjection like this is 100% appropriate anytime an incident like this happens. The NRA needs to be held to account for its despicable positions and advocacy. My thoughts were 100% with the victims, family, and community when I posted it. How dare you suggest otherwise.

Then we live in a country with thousands of less gun deaths per year. You can't seriously have looked at the data and come to the conclusion that citizens, or even police, carrying guns makes us safer. You have to be willfully ignorant to draw that conclusion.
