Unless someone is childish, there's nothing to be embarrassed or humiliated about. Like a previous poster mentioned ~ if other people think that I'm using that stuff on or for me, then that's their problem. They should just mind their own business!
I have gotten a little impatient when trying to purchase condoms that were behind the counter. That's more of a personal choice and if they're behind the counter it's hard to see all of the differences between them. Because of modern technology they sure have changed over time!
I haven't needed condoms for years but back when I bought them I would never get them from a place that had them locked up and forced you to flag down someone to open the case, and then they'd have to stand there and wait for you to pull out the ones you wanted all the while thinking..."oh, a ribbed man." That process actually was a bit embarrassing.
