Sitting in the sun on a hot day would be miserable, pregnant or not. Definitely get seats in the shade or better yet a night game.

Harper. Things could go downhill in a hurry of his injury is serious.

If I did it, I would get tickets in the 200 level club section behind the plate so that it would be possible to go inside into the AC to escape the heat. (Bonus: the section is covered in case it rains).

+1

Most people don't even know that early.

Uh really? You wouldn't know you were pregnant at 7 weeks? You must have really long menstral cycles.

I actually do want to do something for him, but I'm a little afraid that doing extra will make him feel worse about totally effing up my Mother's Day (I'm over it now, but was pretty pissed then!). I'm one of those "service language of love" people, and he's more "physical language of love" people. But he loves baseball (although the Nats aren't his team). I personally don't love baseball but think DS would enjoy it and don't mind doing something that I know DH will enjoy. Take one for the team!

Why don't you get tix for him and the kid and then you go get a "mother's day" pedicure--all your problems solved!

Now the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill are expected here on Sunday, so there will be a lot of rain and storms and will probably be rained out.

On the bright side, you don't have to worry about sitting in the sun.

How about going to a minor league game? Less expensive, easy to take your kid out for a break if he's squirmy.
