Gerber Avalanche

It's highly-rated by Consumer Reports and we've had zero problems since installation two years ago. Never a single clog.

Not to derail, but does anyone know if the Toto toilets from a plumbing supply house are any better than the cheaper Totos available at Home Depot?

To PP - thanks for making that point. The plumbing store had Toto but it was too expensive. Home depot online seems more reasonable.

Do you recommend the 1.6 GPF or 1.28 GPF Drake?

Toto will be expensive from plumbing supply stores. You can order online from Home Depot or Amazon. Make sure you have the height you want--ADA or not.

We have ordered 3 in the past year. One from Home Depot arrived in pieces and it was pretty easy to return it to the store and they express shipped us a new one. Sometimes they do offer free shipping but you can always ship to store for free. Not sure how easy it would be to do an Amazon return if there is a problem.

Has anybody used the American Standard Champion 4 toilet?

Also one reviewer had posted that their Toto had a rim around the inside of the toilet and it always looked like it was stained. Is this true?

And get a soft/quiet-close seat.
