Do you have the Safeway app?

If you buy something enough times, you get discounts directed at you that the rest of the public doesn't get. In addition, they run sales on things for everyone on a weekly basis.

Southern MD has two Safeway gas stations, one in LaPlata and one in Waldorf/Brandywine.

True, but we always used the safeway gas station anyway so it did not affect us. The one on Nutley in Fairfax has a station. If you are in DC that wouldn't help, though.
