Of the girl names you have here, Mira and Neta are the most perfect names ever. Mira<Neta. Among the boys names the reality is do you want to have your son go through life with the world seeing him as a jewish boy or not. Because a boy with this sort of heritage and appearance will be seen a jewish boy...which is fine, because I have this sort of combination, but let's be real, here. >

Sorry if this sounds patronising, but I love that you have made such a baby. My DH I have given birth to four Carribean-jewish babies over the last 7 years. May the world cultural blending continue.

I love this name, but literally every Hindu-Jewish couple I know that has a girl has a Mira/Meera/Mirah (5 of them, none of whom know each other!).

The Hebrew word/name is SimCHa ("ch" pronounced as in Chanukah or challah, not chicken). Most non-Jews in America can't pronounce "ch" names correctly because we don't have that sound in English.

My DH (the Jewish one) kept trying to convince me of Seth. He said it was Indian, but I vetoed it.
I love Avi but the pronunciation is different. I like the Hindi pronunciation Uvi, but the Hebrew pronunciation is Aavi.
We ended up going with an Indian name since he got the Jewish last name.
