My (male) response would be that a lot depends on whether the man has, or wants children. A man who wants children can't really date women much past their mid-30s. A woman can date an older man and still have kids.

On the other hand, if he already had children, or doesn't want them, then all that really matters is looks and personality. There are plenty of highly attractive 35+ women, and plenty of not-so-attractive younger women.

Serious question - why would ANY remotely desirable man marry a woman 5+ years older? Screw, sure. But marry? A 30 year old man with a 35 year old woman has to rush to have kids and missed all her hot years. Any man with options would prefer a 25 year old.

My DH is 2.5 years younger but very mature for his age. A friend of mine is 5 years older than her DH - they met stocking shelves at a store when he was 18 and she was 23. He's a doctor now and they just had their first DC at 27/32.

I was married to a 5 years older man. He's oldest among his siblings, I'm youngest of many. He acted older and it didn't work out, he treated me like a child. Divorced after decades.

Just curious about his current level of sugardaddiness. How much does he make now?

My H is 2 years younger. It hasn't made any difference since he turned 21 and could have a drink at dinner when we went out and I didn't have to supply our wine. Except perhaps when we thought about when to have kids, I did have to keep in mind my age then for the when to start type conversations.

Well a 25 year old girl doesn't have to marry a 40 year old to land financial stability. Even if she marries a 32 year old, he's more likely to earn more money than a 25 year old guy.

My friends who married older guys are now dealing with OLD MEN and their health issues. I'll take a same-age or few years younger guy any day.
