Maybe you should consider feeding her outside.
Oh god, that's foul. Just...you let offal get on your floors on a regular basis? Foul.

and leave the mess for all the rodents to come feast on later? I once kept my kids stroller outside, covered, and found mice droppings inside the covers on the seats!

Tile floors. If hardwood, wouild like indoor gates to section off those areas.
