Same thing happened with my son last year. Final math grade ended up being an "F". My concern was that he'd lose the merit scholarship he'd been offered at the university.

Fortunately, even with the "F", his overall GPA did not fall below what was required for the scholarship.

So he maintained the scholarship and his acceptance was not in jeopardy.

BTW: We never contacted the school to bring it to their attention. We knew they'd receive his final transcript.

NP here. Senior who is going to college on athletic scholarship was told by college admissions counselor that short of the incoming freshman killing someone, the colleges really does not rescind offers.

Fordham, but apparently he will not be rescinded.

I doubt those three colleges were top 25....perhaps even top 50.

You are correct, but I doubt a kid who gets into those is going to get any Fs.
