Way harsh, Tai. OP do whatever makes you happy. I don't think personally I'll put her whole name up, but my mom wants to paint a wooden letter of her first initial and put that up on the wall as part of a gallery wall or on the door to her room. I did not get the crafty gene so I'll let her run with that and anything else.
I just wanted to applaud the clueless reference here. That is all.
Seconded. I love it.

Anonymous wrote:Oh my god, people, it's a child's room -- it's going to be tacky in a year or two anyway! You can try to make it "classy" and then your kid gets some Elmo poster in a coloring book someone gives her as a gift, and before you know it, that's up on the wall. And then some horrid growth chart with Dora on it. And then she finds all the things you hid away before she was born that you didn't like, and she wants to put them on the walls... give it up. OP, if you want to put a name on the wall, just put nails up as place holders now and then actually put up the letters after baby comes. That way ,the actual 'work' is already done.
My DD has her name on the wall. It was a gift, not my choice, but I didn't care. DD LOVES it. She loves that now, at 20 months, she can "read" her name on the wall.

I must know. Full explanation please. What is redneck and tacky and teen-mom and about putting a baby's name on baby room wall? Or are you just trying to sound superior?
