I don't know if DCPS has one but FCPS does and everytime we had a noncompliance issue and I called her, things changed and there is no cost involved. It's the compliance officer's job to make sure the schools county-wide (district-wide) are in compliance with federal and state law.


We're in FCPS and I didn't know there was a compliance officer. This is great to know, I'm definitely checking into this.

You need to insist on independent assessments in all areas to ascertain if your child is able to succeed in his current learning environment. Start the process in writing today via an email!!!
