What? Why? Are these just new kids that moved in boundary? Or new kids that have been identified as AAP starting next year that would be given the option to go to GBW under the new system (post Poplar-Tree center formation)?

And btw, to a PP, had two kids go through GBW in gen ed and their classes have ALWAYS been maxed out - even worse than the AAP classrooms most years

The biggest group of AAP kids, the rising 6th graders, will be gone after a year - should get better/less crowded by then especially with no more kids coming from Poplar Tree, Cub Run and Brookfield.

I don't see why a school can't be closed to new students. If a school is at capacity, parents can stay with their base school or transport a child to another center with capacity.

Again, after sitting back and letting this crap happen, fcps sits back and lets the center they just attempted to "fix" go right back to the severe overcrowding because the refuse to make the changes that actually might make this situation better (and refuse to piss off the parents of their "special" students)
