Uh you do realize that they were not in first class....hence they sit BEHIND those people and would not have seen it.

I assume if the daughter is potentially going to have a meltdown as epic as the one the mother predicted, they could have brought their own food (with a doctor's note if necessary to carry on) and asked for it to be heated.
