She is incredibly bitter towards SAHMs and I wonder if she comes up with scenarios to create threads to get debates started. Why would someone start a thread like this just to say they love taking up a spot at aftercare even though they don't need it. Doesn't make sense.
I've noticed this, too. I think this and other threads with "SAHM" in the title are made up. I'm a SAHM and I don't know any SAHMs with kids in aftercare. It wouldn't make sense.
Why wouldnt it make sense? Im not OP. I am a sahm, full time, and my child attends aftercare 4 days a week. He doesnt go on fridays, as i dedicate that day to doing something fun, one on one with him. Monday through thursday he goes because he gets to play with his friends. There is no play time during school hours. I have a difficult newborn at home so that plays into it also. We can afford aftercare. If the child has no problem with it, as well as the rest of the household, then im not sure why its a big deal.

Anonymous wrote:What aftercare program? Elementary school? No, our schools require that both parents (or the parent in a single-parent household) be employed, in school or incapacitated to register for extended day. SAHM doesn't qualify.
