My homebound hoarder auntie has several bottles of her favorite scent and wears it every day.

I won't be going down that road.

Me three. It may be my last hold against my overall decay. I don't think I have a pair of panties without holes or matching socks, and can't be bothered to replace. But Chanel perfume daily.

I use a small bit (think nickel size or less) of my scents shower gel right before my final rinse and use the scents body lotion daily (over my barely there scent rich body lotion.)

If I am heading out I'll give a spritz of the scent, toilette or cologne.

Date night with DH, fancy events, special occasions I will lawyer (lightly) with everything, including dabbing perfume on the pulse points. Spraying a touch in my hair etc.

Don't worry it is not overbearing, you'd have to be close to catch the scent.

I don't think it is silly to wear it with a tee and jeans, I do all the time.

I also rotate my scents seasonally, but I really really like perfume.


lawyer huh? i agree that it's nice to rotate. I do the same with mine. I like wearing nice expensive perfume.

Most of you must be non ethnic. Sexy, sweet, expensive scents are feminine. It's like that cologne you smell on a guy that smells so musky and masculine and sexy. Only the cheap type of perfume is not worth wearing at all.

I wear scent just about every day. Sometimes it is a very light scented body lotion and a spritz of eau de toilette. At night I usually wear more scent, and sometimes something heavier. I love perfume.

Used to wear it but then moved to simple essential oils, then nothing.

I've been toying with getting back into it. A little scent is fun. It tells a story and it captures an era. If I pulled out a scent worn in undergrad, it would take me straight back.

Not wearing oerfume does NOT mean you are letting yourself go. It just means you aren't an old lady.
