My son calls my in-laws Teta (grandmother) and jiddo (grandfather). My mom was grandma to my nephews but my son calls her Grand Mom (it is seriously too cute - sounds uptight but he says it a way that makes us all giggle).

Grandma and Grandpa. My one grandfather had died before I was born, and my other grandmother died when I was small.

My DH's parents also died a while ago, so my son calls my parents Grandma and Grandpa. It seems normal to me and him to just have one set.

Kids call my mom granny

We let the grandparents decide what they wanted to be called. My parents wanted Ye-Ye and Nai-Nai (Chinese for grandparents) because, surprise, we're Chinese. My MIL chose Grammy as her name of choice. My FIL was deceased when the grandkids were born.

Nana & Pawpaw

Grandma/grandpa first name, both sides of the family.

Grandma and Papa (mom's side). My great grandma was Memere.

Dad's side was grandma ____ [name] and grandpa [last name]. Kind of odd.

My moms parents were Grandma and Grampa. My dads mom was Granny. His dad died before my parents even met.

My dad was Grampa to ds. My mom died a long time ago. My mil is Grandma. FIL is Grandpa John, and his wife is Grandma Becky.

My parents go by Nana and Papa.

We only knew my father's parents and we called them Grandma and Grandpa

Dad's side: Bubbie and Zayda (traditional Yiddish names for grandparents)

DS calls my parents Nana and Grandpa, and DH's parents Grammy and Papa. My mom wanted to be called Nana because that's what she called her own grandmother. My dad didn't have any preference -- I think he secretly wanted to be Zayda but since his parents are still alive there's already a Zayda. Not sure how DH's parents selected their names.

I expect to be Bubbie when the time comes.

I called mine grandma and granddaddy.

My daughter was around my mother and grandmother equally, so she called them "grandma [first name]" to distinguish the two.

I called all my grandparents grandma and grandpa.

My parents are Mama and Papa. My in laws are Meemo and Bop ( named by our son.) They wanted Grandma and Pop, but the kid's names stuck.
