Every day (some weekends I might skip a day if I do nothing). Most days I shower twice due to fitness activities.

Every other day. My eczema cleared up when I stopped daily showers. I also only take 5 minute showers.

Every morning. A very rare day I don't shower at all. (2-3 times a year?) and maybe once a month I end up showering twice. Female.

Anonymous wrote:Wow people are so judgmental (I know welcome to DCUM). I personally shower every other day if I'm doing low activity life. If I'm working out or heavy yard work, then it's up to 2x day.

The key is to let your own body tell you when it's time and balance that with consideration of the people around you. That means no offensive smells, which includes body odor and perfumes and other artificial, so-called fresh scents that can make people gag as much as BO. It's not socially ok to force your scent on anyone but most people are too polite to let you know.

Believe me, if you're older than 2, you smell by the second day even if you don't think you do. I shower every day - I feel absolutely disgusting if I dont (hair every other day though, unless I work out). I'm female.

Every morning. My hair is a rats nest if I don't wash it, so in the shower I hop!

I also shower every other day most times. Sometimes every day... sometimes once in 3 days. Especially in winter it's not every other day, more like once every 3 days in winter.

I smell fine, DH loves my skin (which is probably softer than it would be if I showered every day, with my skin). No need to shower more often.

Every other day, unless I have gotten sweaty or dirty. But hugely pregnant with a toddler, showers are sliding lower on my to do list. My hair takes forever to dry and I have super dry skin and have to moisturize right after I shower, it makes it into a huge production. My DH showers every morning and occassionally in the evening if he has gotten particularly sweaty. I am very jealous of his quick 3 minute showers.

Female. I shower every evening before bed. In the summer I often shower twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening.

Every other day, sometimes every three days.

I don't have a very active lifestyle so I don't really get gross or sweaty.

Female, usually every morning, but occasionally I skip a day.

Female, every day. The only time I ever skip is if I'm too sick to stand up and even then I'll attempt to shower while sitting on the shower seat. The thought of being dirty and sleeping on clean sheets doesn't sit well in my mind. I wash my hair every 2 days.

Female, once a day before bed. I like to go to bed clean. Once in a very rare while I will skip a day if it hasn't been a particularly active or sweaty day.

If I start working out in the morning that may change to an a.m. shower, but I like going to bed feeling clean, and I like the extra time to sleep in the morning knowing that I don't need time to shower. In the winter, if I haven't gotten sweaty on a particular day, I will occasionally skip a shower, but then I still wash "the essentials" (pits, crotch and tushie) with a washcloth or hand-held shower head.

My husband showers every morning, and again at night if he's worked out during the day.

Also - FWIW - I wash my hair about 2x/week. Keeps it healthier. But my husband washes his every time he showers.
