You need a shovel, rake, at a minimum. Hand trowel, clippers, loping shears. A yard cart is nice. Lawn mower (electric cord if electric), a couple hoses with attachment. Hose wheel

Just get the shovel and rake to begin with and get the rest of the stuff as you need it.

In addition to those thing over the years I have bought.
Electric hedge trimmer, electric weed whacker, spade, ax, saw, adze , hoe, fork, .... the list goes on. Hand hedge clipper. watering cans, hoses

This anti-sunflower bias is bizarre.
I grow yellow sun flowers, red sunflowers, bi-color sunflowers, mini sunflowers, double sunflowers and the true 12-foot giants. They look gorgeous and the birds love them once they are done flowering.

these 3'ers might work better in a smaller suburban garden - in the middle of a bed maybe.
