It took me almost a year. Maybe 9-10 months or so. I definitely had funks in that time where I skipped a week or two of workouts. But it took a long time for me to love it. I think a big part of that is knowing I can do things that I never in my life could do, so I get pride and satisfaction from that. Also not doing the same thing, but a rotating schedule of a variety of exercises.
