I wear t-shirts and sleeveless things, too. Hot flashes are so awful I don't wear anything that covers my arms. My arms are not very nice.


OP, I suggest either lose the weight or getting some help with your body image.

Yes, I wear them all the time. Not sure why I wouldn't? Not going to cover up my bat wings to make others comfortable. Young people are wearing leggings as pants, I can wear a tshirt.

I wear t shirts and matching jersey shorts every single day. The only time I wear nice clothes is when I go out in public.

We call them the "hey babies." Because when you raise your arm to wave at a friend and say "Hey, baby!" they swing to and fro. But one of my friends calls them bat wings. The possibilities are endless.

It is too damn hot for long sleeves! If my arms are repugnant you don't need to look at them.

Yup. I wear mostly tee shirts and short sleeve polo shirts. Then again, becoming a dad at age 45 and toting around 2 nearly 35 lb preschoolers means that my arms are actually in better shape than they were from 35-45. I've had a few people think I've been working out when all I've been doing is trying to keep up with two active preschoolers!

I wear t-shirts. Why not? I wear sleevless shirts too. I have one on today. My arms look OK. They don't look like my teenaged daughter's arms, but they're nice enough looking. And I don't work out, and I do have some post-menopausal flab, particularly around my waist. But t-shirts are comfy. I'll never give them up.

^I'm teasing Op! We all have our trouble spots. If your upper arms are your trouble spot then wear mid sleeve shirts if you aren't comfortable with shorter sleeves. But I'll bet your arms look better than you think they do or could look better after a little time at the gym.

I even reveal a little bit of ankle every now and then!

They in fact reveal the whole upper arm. I take it you aren't actually over 50 years of age yet

I'm over 50, and I work out with a personal trainer. Heck yes I wear clothes that show off my upper arm.
