She cheated. Plain and simple. She's using the whole "must have gotten it from a tractor" ploy on you.

Very suspicious that symptoms suddenly show up like that, if she's supposedly had it for years.

Certainly lots of info about chlamydia. Not so much the timing issue I'm focused on.

The thing is.. how does she know she has it? Docs don't test women for it unless they ask to, or they are pregnant (or sexual assault.. but taht's a different story).

My GYN runs a full STD panel every year at my eval, simply because many things can have a long "incubation" period and something from years ago can finally decide to show itself.

I'm suspicious obviously. Didn't think this was something I had to worry about.

Anyway, consider that your GF told you about it when she could have just let it go. She is getting cleared of it and so should you.

OK. With women, it generally takes a while and sometimes something else going on to show up. Unfortunately there is no way to know when she was infected.

If she hasn't otherwise given you reason not to trust her, this shouldn't do it either. One of the reasons chlamydia is such a risk to women is that it can be completely symptom-free while it's wrecking havoc on your reproductive system.

The trust issue is 'when' she got it. But Internet says there is no expiration date on chlamydia so no smoking gun.
