What kind of things do they get done?

I am thankful for the intense, SAHMs who run our DC's school. They drive everyone crazy but they also get things done.

As a lawyer turned SAHM, I understand that people usually think I expect a lot from people. But I really think that it helps to have people like me push everyone along and get things done! To quote Tiny Fey, "bitches get things done!"

But I have been around my own kind enough to say, I'm so sorry, I'm sure she is a lunatic, and I'm so sorry. Did I mention I'm sorry?

I've actually been surprised about how laid back ours are. Thank you cool parents! A lot of it may come, at least with the ones I've met, having a life outside their kids whether sahps or wahps.

We have a crazy one at our language immersion charter, and even worse she's a lawyer! I'm sure this parent doesn't see them self as "intense", so we all do our best to be kind but otherwise ignore. When you say you want "involved parents", you certainly don't get to dictate the intensity or craziness of that involvement, so you try for the best given what (and who) you're working with.

My favorite DCUM complaint ever.
