All the parents get along well (we are very lucky, I know) so that is not an excuse.
Help me come up with reasons why they need to stay with DH's (local) brother instead. Reasons that don't involve the truth, obviously. The only one I can think of so far is telling them that with my parents in town also, we just don't want anyone staying with us at night because we need the extra space/alone time. Of course we have hosted both families simultaneously before so that will seem rude/strange, but it's the best I can think of. Help!
Insist that they stay with you that weekend. You will be blessed with a righteous child!

I don't see what the big deal would be about any of these options:
* Let your in-laws stay with you and do it quietly as others have said.
* Let them stay and go ahead and make as much as you like; so what if they hear?
* Tell your in-laws you will be baby-making and they are welcome to stay with you if it won't offend their sensibilities or else they are welcome to stay elsewhere.
You and your parents are gross.

Sure, I can make one up, and have. I just thought maybe there were more creatives one out there I wasn't thinking of. But it sounds like most people wouldn't even bother because they don't care if people hear them have sex and/or don't care about flat out telling people that they are going to be having sex. I guess I am a prude. Good to know.
I don't think that's what most posts were saying. They're offering you options. Just do the deed without noise. It is possible and can actually add a bit of fun to it (trying to be super quiet).

Or, just rent a hotel room and tell them you're going out for dinner. You don't have to spend the night at the hotel.

Have them stay with them and then ask them to take your kid to a park or something. When they are out of the house then have sex. Doesn't need to be at night.
