Yes, Midge and the Elementary school teacher and the step mom. All of them the same type. Even the 2nd wife fits that particular bill.

I agree. In fact, I kept waiting for some sort of revelation that the events of the fall season were merely a dream (nightmare) that Don was having. Or that it was an alternative life he would've had if he hadn't married Megan. It wasn't until he told Rachel's sister at the shiva that he was twice divorced that I realized time had just jumped forward and we, as viewers, were supposed to forget all the heartache of the fall and move on. I felt a little betrayed but tried to move along.

It seemed much more upbeat to me. No mention of Don's breakdown, suspension, Siberia-ization. He's back in his corner partner office. Back in Roger's good graces. It's as if the fall season never happened. He's running the show with the casting call. I liked it a lot.

The show always starts slow.

Is it my imagination or has Joan lost weight?

I also think it is limping a bit toward the finale. The split final season creates a weird divide that doesn't propel the narrative in satisfactory way. Am I the only one who will be disappointed if Don doesn't die by the end? I only really look forward to futures for Sally and Peggy.

i tried a little too late to rewatch all of the seasons and got up to season 4 then the ones from last year. really sucks they split a whole season over two years.

It's been so long I had a hard time getting back into it and connecting all the dots. I will watch the remaining episodes because I feel like I have committed so much time to it but was disappointed I wasn't more excited.

I think being able to binge watch seasons of other shows on Netflix has spoiled me.
