The producers have said in interviews that GRRM asked them who the mother was. They answered correctly and so were given the rights to the show. I'm hopeful the show goes there. Also Cersei's flashback to the fortune teller is allegedly part of the story this season, so maybe the flashbacks are starting.

Oh, cool! I'm the PP asking how the show will pull this off. I like verse's prophesy too. My reading of the hints in the books is that "little brother" will turn out to be Tommen- her younger son and so little brother of Joffrey. I'd love to see Tommen stand up to his mom and kill her one day!

In the show she doesn't see the same images, unfortunately. I was disappointed about that.

Not the PP who initially posted about it, but the Jon Snow theories are based on very strong hints in the very first book (tho the tv series doesn't include them). If you've read the first book, you've seen all the evidence already.

What's interesting too is the only living person in Westeros who can confirm Jon Snow's lineage has only been mentioned in the books, but has not actually appeared, though his children have.
