What use is the gun then? None. It is more likely to be used against you/someone in your household than against a burglar in a home invasion.
Enjoy your false sense of security. I personally would rather have a home alarm system and/or a dog to ward off break ins.
I have an alarm system precisely so that I will wake up and have time to get my gun before the bad guy gets the jump on me.
Enjoy your false sense of security that the alarm alone protects you.

Nah. Take blacks out of the equation and we are comparable to the Europeans.
It ain't an "excuse"... it is a reason.

Despite being in shackles, Assaye allegedly overpowered a female private security guard about 3 a.m. after the second guard left the room.
Women have no business guarding violent felons. Women are too weak in body and mind to keep such animals in check.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Where on earth do you people live that you are shooting armed intruders in your own homes? Having easily accessible handguns poses a much greater threat to your safety (and to that of your children!) than the spectre of some armed bandit breaking down your doors and windows.
Since the guns are not easily accessible to children your argument fails.

Strawman.
Nobody argues that guns make you safe and infallible.
Moron.
I'll bite. So if the argument isn't that more guns make us safer (because we can defend ourselves), then what is the argument?
The argument is indeed that guns make you safer.
The argument is NOT that guns make you 100% guaranteed, always and forever infallibly safe.

That would be great - he would be dead in an instant. Good outcome.

As long as criminals have guns (and they get them illegally, by the way), I am happy we own a gun and at least have a chance to adequately defend ourselves in the event some nut bag decides to break into our house.
That doesn’t mean there are not risks. Guns, nor people are infallible.
