OP, your friend is playing into the drama, I hate to say this, but you need to distance yourself from her too.
I know she is in a B's situation, but letting the husband come home, playing games about how she sent you the video when she didn't, and now forwarding email to you means she is going to be fighting with him, contacting you, all day today and all week with more drama.
You said in your OP things were so bad with then they were divorcing, but clearly they are not.
No husband of mine would be coming anywhere near me, much less getting any contact from me and going back and forth, if he videotaped my friends in my home.
You need to
1. Go to the police
2. Tell your friend, nicely, that you are taking a break from her

OP here. He wants to; I asked him not to. If we were to pursue legal action, I didn't want to give the POS the upper hand by giving away that we knew. Of course, this was before my friend let the cat out of the bag to her husband...

Sigh. Can't sleep. And yesterday started as such a happy day; DH and I finally got to hear our baby's heartbeat, and FTS went well....
Why isn't your husband calling/emailing this jackass? If this happened to my wife, the dude would be talking to me, not my wife.

Please report this to the police *BEFORE* he gets home; you do not want him to be able to get his hands on that computer. The police can get a warrant to search the house and confiscate the computer. Once they have the computer, a decent computer tech/admin can retrieve the deleted file as long as the sectors have not been written over (unlikely unless there is a LOT of data written to the disk in a short amount of time). Then the computer video can be used to prosecute him.

4) why did your friend let her husband leave w/ the computer on a business trip?
This story doesn't add up - the friend is both Sherlock and Magoo...
I'd say either she's trying to line up character witnesses for a divorce or this is a troll post.

I'd say first and foremost, think about your health and your baby. I don't think you need to flip out and immediately do anything. Take your time to think about it for your own peace of mind. Yes, he's a POS, and it's good your friend is divorcing him, but even if it's not really deleted, if there is no way to identify you, what are the chances it's going to turn up again? If he has any brains, he will not post it anywhere. I agree you should probably get counseling about it and mull over what you need to do. Do some research and decide what to do next.
