I don't think so. I already went to one before the lottery and I have the PTA contact info and schedule. I will probably start attending the meetings in April. I encourage you to go to the open house though, if you haven't already been. There was a lot of good info presented, and it was clear that there is a great group of supportive parents who are very involved in the school. We are excited about next year.

Welcome to Hearst, for those of you new to the school! We look forward to welcoming you in person!

I am one of the PTA co-presidents and have an incoming pK4 kid (in addition to a current 1st grader). The school can't release contact information of the new families to us but I am assembling a list of the new families that I know about (on my own).

So if you want to join my email list just email president1@hearstes.org. I'll add you to my list and will send out info about playdates, etc. over the spring and summer. We will definitely have a few things.

Or come to the next open house and introduce yourself!
