Also, OP? Do you honestly have the $320,000 per child, after taxes, ready to go for a "top private" ? Or $750,000 for two kids? Easily, and regardless of job changes that you can't foresee right now?
IME on these threads, a lot of posters claim they're just struggling with a choice of educational philosophy, and implied or left unsaid is that three quarters of a million dollars is no biggie. Life tells me differently
