Any time a guy refers to his ex or current partner as a "psycho," I always take it w/a grain of salt.

Sometimes men can do things to women to make them appear crazy, but they never like to accept any responsibility in doing so. It's much easier to label them a "psycho" than admitting they contributed to someone's unstableness.

Haven't you ever heard, "Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned....??" Perfect example of what I meant.

Anyway, I do not believe you OP. I think you slept w/this woman + I do not think your "Dear" Wife is overreacting.

What is probably driving her behavior is that you are not admitting it to her. W/out closure, to be in limbo like she is....It's no wonder she is acting this way.

Just come clean and admit to her the truth. At least meet her halfway here so she has something.

Not having sex with someone allows you to discount a whole list of other inappropriate and hurtful behaviors that says your wife and her feeling don't matter to you.

-the length of time you carried on
-going out for drinks, dinner, and dates. Where was your wife? Sitting home waiting for you while you said you were ummmmm working late?
-not keeping it consistently professional (playful teasing, flirting)
-sounds like you lied to your wife about this - if she knew she doesn't wake up one day and decide this was an affair - the lying permits that conclusion. You filled your wife with lies to permit you to keep this up. You lied.
-the fact that this other person is cool with getting all this attention at the expense of your marriage and your wife. I would know, as a woman, that a wife probably wouldn't be down with this crap.
-this is likely an emotional affair that you both justified because you weren't porking her.
-you should have protected your marriage and your wife, but you hung her out to dry.

Don't put this on your wife and act stupid when she loses it. I'm not pro the wife's actions but I think you are a douche. I kind of think the business associate is crappy too. No one in this scene gets a pass.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. OP, Clinton used that line to try to lie about his relationship with Lewinsky. He told himself that "having sex" was only intercourse and he didn't have intercourse so in his mind he didn't have sex. But he did everything else with her -- totally inappropriate.
