So why are those on the list if it's already been decided thw dogs are coming?
I am reading between the lines that you are the only one who doesn't want the dogs to come (between husband parents and sibling), but either you say "no" united with you husband and let them work out the details, or it's ok with you and you figure out the setup in your own house

Anonymous wrote:Personally, I find it insane that anyone would even ask to bring a pet to someone else's house. I have a dog, and I'd never ask to bring her. No relative has ever asked me to bring her either. I find boarding for her here. Yes, it's expensive, but it's part of owning a pet.

The thread may have derailed a bit but I'm really just looking for some other proposals other than the ones I listed above. An out of the box suggestion that gets us both closer to what we want.
For example, I think the doggy diapers would be a good option. Just want the maximum number of ideas on hand to discuss.
Also, someone mentioned the garage. I'm not sure if that will be an option around Thanksgiving/Xmas time, it would probably be too cold right?
Aren't the dogs housebroken? Why on EARTH would they wear doggy diapers? My dog is 13 and would be ripping at her ass with her teeth if we put a diaper on her.
OP here. I know almost nothing about dogs. They said the dogs have accidents so this was one thought for preventing accidents. Like I said, I'm very open to any alternative suggestions you may have.
seriously, is this a real post? you know nothing about dogs + multiple dogs that have accidents + holiday = DISASTER
