+1 CLS is an outstanding program in the same building!

Does anyone have feedback on the Italian program there?

Even though they are expanding the outdoor time, if your child takes language classes then it will of course be less outdoor time then Xday. so CLS is probably better for kids who like more structure. Xday better for kids that need to burn energy and have a range of things to do. FWIW, if you want to have your child decide you can sign up for a few days of language and a few days of xday and see what clicks for them.

Very helpful, thanks.

We are a family who switched from CLS to XDay. It really depends on the kid. Mine weren't into language like I wanted them to be. They enjoy the extras XDay had like clay and sewing. Plus they spend a lot more time outside than CLS. But that may be changing it sounds like.

To OP - is your concern over supervision on the younger grades (PK or K) or the older grades?

Who does better in which program?
