PW has many very nice areas with very little crime and good schools. A few bad areas along Route 1 and parts of Manassas/Manassas Park have caused the entire county to be unfairly stereotyped. Most of the people on DCUM who trash PWC have never set foot in the county.

Schools in PG are horrible, so bad the realtors usually don't even bother to identify them. Those in the western part of PWC are actually pretty good.

Anonymous wrote:PG absolutely. Like others have mentioned, there are some very nice areas there plus lots of new development and buzz. It's close to dc with lots of parts metro accessible. PWC is far out and, to be honest, the acronym pretty much betrays what a lot of people equate it with.....
