There were other components of Fentry twins. The school they were IB for only had 1 class per grade. Many specialists recommend that twins are in separate classrooms after early childhood education.
They are not the only children who were placed in a school other than West for this reason.
That may be, but Fenty's wife toured all the schools she was interested in and then got to choose. Subsequently, Rhee announced a policy of allowing high profile individuals to choose. That's a step above and beyond teacher preference.
