We have two HRCS that are not a great commute (but doable, I think) above a pretty good charter that would have a really easy commute. I don't understand. Are all three a poor commute for you? We're at Lee and it's worth a commute, but not if it will be soul crushing. there are several families that currently live in or near Petworth (and further away). Bear in mind though that Lee will be moving after next year.
Bridges would be a great commute; Lee and IT would not be as easy. I know Lee will be moving, but it sounds like it will stay in the Brookland area, right?
Thanks everyone! I just changed the rankings with Bridges higher.

Go with the easy commute! You don't realize what a difference it can make but it does.
When I'm running late in the am, I always thank myself for turning down the school that would have been soul crushing. I can put on some sweats, run the kids to school and come back and and get ready for work.
And that is the correct choice for your family. Put on those sweats and go to your neighborhood school.
Some of us choose to get up early, make the commute and really dedicate ourselves to the experience at our charter schools. That's ok too.
