No. From what I know, "Medical officer" = MD + residency completed in US. Others, including foreign-trained physicians without a US residency, can apply for non "medical officer" positions.

I am a possible single mom, so I am considering making the move because the demands of practice, even in academia, seem to be too much.
Anyone who left the FDA as a medical officer and joined pharma?
